There’s a massive snag regarding VPNs… A significant portion of the leading VPN companies used in the US, including ExpressVPN, CyberGhost, Private Internet Access, ZenMate, Hotspot Shield, Betternet, and Touch VPN, are owned or controlled by entities with Israeli links, mainly through firms like Kape Technologies and Aura (formerly Pango Group).
Many of these companies are led or staffed by veterans of Israel’s military intelligence (Unit 820. In other words, it’s a massive dragnet operation that scoops up vital data and communications from privacy-conscious Americans.
