To this current news headline: "Under the UK's planned social media ban, more than 100,000 British teenagers aged 16 and 17 could initially be locked out of social media because they lack a passport or driving license that may be needed as a fallback for age verification." I re-bring to the attention of the youth of the United Kingdom what Nepal youth did last year under similar circumstances:
Last year in Nepal, Generation Z protesters toppled the government in September 2025 after the administration banned 26 social media platforms.
Prime Minister Resignation: K. P. Sharma Oli resigned, and an interim government was installed following days of unrest.
Government Buildings Torched: Protesters set fire to the Federal Parliament, Singha Durbar (the administrative headquarters), the Supreme Court, and the residences of the president and prime minister.
Casualties and Causes: The protests, driven by anger over corruption and lack of economic opportunity, resulted in at least 22 to 72 deaths after security forces used live ammunition against demonstrators.
Digital Mobilization: The youth used banned platforms like Discord and TikTok to organize, bypassing restrictions to coordinate the rapid overthrow of the political elite.
When you guys get angry enough, you know what you need to do.
