Microsoft is watching everything you do on your computer. It's become a lot like the vehicle situation; they will no longer work if they cannot watch you at all times. All this data on you is being piled into AI databases so they can predict your behavior. They want to know the things you're afraid of and what the things are that you like. Not only do they want to know everything you are doing, but they want to know what carrots and what sticks will work against you. They can ask their AI databases, "What's the best method to manipulate this person?" And the AI will tell them "How do we make him or her do X or Y?" And the AI will tell them. "How can we damage this person the easiest?" And the AI will tell them.
This is the world we live in now.
