Michael Waltz’s was caught using an Israel version of the Signal app during White House cabinet meetings--which was passing the high-security discussions to Mossad & Israel--and was ousted from his job as National Security Adviser.
However, was he tried and convicted of treason for doing such? (The sentence for which is death by hanging.) Nope, he wasn't, and instead President Trump announced he would be nominating Waltz for the position of Ambassador to the United Nations.
