It's 10x more sweet than sugar, so you need a miniscule amount of it. It's a sap from a plant that has been dehydrated, and it's not a sugar, it just activates the sweet taste-buds. The way to use it is to start with a very small amount and add a little more until you reach the desired sweetness. It only has an aftertaste if you've put in too much.
