The Declaration of Independence
says it loud and clear
Governments get their power from the “consent of the governed,” and when they fail us, “it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government.” This isn’t just a historical artifact—it’s a reminder that we hold the ultimate authority to change a government that no longer serves our rights or needs. So why didn’t we do this in 2020, during one of the most turbulent years in recent history, and why aren’t we doing it now!
