On Sept 2nd, a White House official stated that the administration would view any House Republicans joining Representative Thomas Massie in pushing to force a vote on releasing the full Epstein files as a "very hostile act to the administration".
Massie's petition to release the files is still two votes shy from passing. Almost no Republicans voted for their release. That should tell you something very serious.
