North Korea has announced a strict new policy: anyone found promoting Zionist ideas can face the death penalty. The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) released a statement calling Israel an illegitimate state, deepening the country’s already strong opposition to Israel.
The KCNA report claimed that Zionism supports imperialism and apartheid. Officials called Israel a “colonial project created by the United States.” Along with this, North Korea also banned all pro-Israel materials. Anyone caught sharing, owning, or promoting such materials could face the death penalty or life in prison.
